Go wireless and play Spotify on Bluetooth supported devices such as speakers, headphones, and even your car.

Let's try a couple of things. First, reinstall the Spotify app for a fresh start. Keep in mind that you need to re-download any music you've downloaded for offline listening. After that: Restart all your devices (and speakers) by unplugging them and plugging them back in. Make sure that all devices are on the same WiFi network.

I am seeing the same issue. I can fire up the Spotify client and see a full list of devices. I can fire up the web player in a Chrome browser and it sees only my local computer. If I select another device using the Spotify client, the Spotify web player suddently 'sees' that client as well, and sets it to default. Google’s Wear OS platform has had a Spotify app for a while, but it’s only ever had the ability to play music on your phone or on connected devices throughout the home. This is so frustrating, I don't know if you all are working on the program or not but I have NOT been able to use my Spotify application due to the fact that it will not detect my WiFi. It is not my WiFi's fault, all other applications detect it. It has been this way for about a half a week now so. Still not working? Try re-pairing your devices: Turn your Bluetooth audio device off. In the Bluetooth settings of your phone, tablet, or computer, delete the information of your Bluetooth device. This setting is often called Forget. On both devices, switch Bluetooth off/back on. Re-establish the connection.

On both devices, switch Bluetooth on.

Open Spotify and play. The sound now comes from your chosen device.

The devices are in range. We recommend they're within 1 meter (3ft) of each other.
Both devices have sufficient power.
You’re connected to the right device. You might need to disconnect any other devices.
You haven’t reached the maximum number of devices you can pair at any one time.
The connection allows media sharing. Look for this option in the Bluetooth settings of your phone, tablet, or computer.
You may need to select the device you’re pairing to as the default for your phone, tablet, or computer. Look for this option in the Bluetooth settings.
